Air India Expands to 12 New Global Routes Post-Privatization

Tata-owned Air India’s new routes to Europe and East Asia were added, boosting Delhi Airport’s transfer numbers. Post-privatization, Air India expanded to Birmingham, Milan, Copenhagen, Vienna, Amsterdam, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dhaka. This expansion aligns with Delhi Airport’s upgrades for smoother transit. Air India plans increased frequencies to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Milan, and a new service to Zurich, leveraging partnerships for connectivity.
